  • Celebration in Andapa hosted by the Duke Lemur Center, WWF Madagascar, and many partners, including learning activities about superstitions about wildlife like aye-ayes, barn owls, chameleons, and snakes, and a concert by Riccardo Morrelas and Mafoaka Band.
  • The National Ministry of the Environment celebrated with communities in Sambava starting with a celebration on Saturday October 19 and school events the following week.

He will be joined by Toronto Zoo staff members who recently travelled to Madagascar to conduct women’s health and conservation projects.
  • After the talk, engage with the researchers during a panel discussion on what the future holds for Planet Madagascar’s conservation work and reasons for optimism.
  • Proceeds from the event support Planet Madagascar’s in-situ initiatives.
